South Seas c.1950

 

South Seas is a 1950's pattern made by Community, Oneida Silverplate. The pattern's name is stamped on the back of each handle. Lovely smooth handles with a scroll pattern near the bowls. These spoons are 6, 1/4 inches in length and show minimal signs of their age, but they are gently used.

More drawer queens with these five teaspoons in not used condition. I don't see any corrosion on their back, but they've all got the lazer ID number on their back.

Celebrity or Wild Rose. c. 1939

Another piece of Celebrity or Wild Rose made by Wm Rogers A-1.  This spoon was well used and has a light wear on the bowl back. Also great patina.

Artistry or Silver Artistry c.1965

This is a spoon made by Community. Another drawer queen with virtually no patina and a lazer security code in the back. Has several corrosion marks on the bowls back from improper storage. This pattern has no beading.

Old Colony Sugar Shovel

 This is a beautiful piece of silverplate in a vintage pattern. Made by 1847 Rogers, this is another serving spoon that had a specific use. My sister though it was as a sugar shovel, but I dunno....

Patrician C. 1975

Made by Community, this is a nice, simple pattern of beading around the edge. This is one spoon only and has been a drawer queen most of it's life with minimal patina.  Does have a few light wear marks on the bowl back from rubbing against it? Also has a lazer ID mark on back for home security.
